The goal of this workshop is to provide you with an overview of the Google Applications suite with particular emphasis on:
- Google Search (basic and advanced)
- Google Earth
- Google Docs (and Spreadsheets)
- Google Pages
By the end of this workshop, you should be able to:
- Create your own Google Apps account
- Conduct simple and advanced searches
- Use Google Earth to view and create custom content
- Create and manage documents and spreadsheets
- Design and publish web pages
- Brainstorm how these tools can be used in the classroom
- Begin to grasp the "Googleverse," the ever-expanding collection of Google products and services

You can review, print or even save your own copy of many of the documents we will be working with. Google Pages also lets us include unique interactive features called "widgets" (see the Parking Lot and Feedback pages). All these things were done to maximize interactivity and to showcase the power of Google Tools.
